Without waiting for the environmental concerns showed in the media, BLEUFORÊT had opted for environmental protection:

- Half of the power source of the factory is produced by a water turbine, with no release of CO2, or waste of any kind. Our new forming machines are particularly efficient and have reduce energy consumption by 30%.

-Production of steam is obtained from natural gas without the release of unburned or residual fuels.

- The use of natural raw materials, whose traceability is ensured by the spinners, and the exclusive use of dyed yarns avoid the release of polluting chemical treatments that is very noxious for the environment.

These energy choices have earned BLEUFORÊT an award by the Environment Agency and the Nature of Europe (ADEME): the "Motor Challenge" label.
